Logs at Lake Moraine

A view of this lake's iconic outlet in the spring and early summer. As more water from glacial and snowmelt raises this beloved lake's level it overflows, collecting all the logs that have fallen in the lake over decades. As the level stabilizes this channel dries up, creating a rocky chute where a few hardy shrubs return.
